Water Shutoffs – Weeks of July 16 and July 23, 2018
Posted By frodriguez on July 11, 2018
Attention All Evo Homeowners and Residents,
Water service to the entire building will be shut off on Monday July 16, 2018, between the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, in order to change out a gasket in the main domestic water supply line. This is necessary in order to continue the process of replacing all Victaulic fittings in the line, repairs related to the construction defect litigation. Please note that some units may not experience any loss of water, as full drainage of the entire building will not be necessary.
In addition, further localized water shutoffs will be necessary between July 17th and 20th, impacting units on floors 3-13. The schedule of these water shutoffs is posted at the front desk, and available for download here. The purpose of these additional water shutoffs is to verify the accuracy of the building plans, particularly pertaining to water isolation valves. The project is necessary to pursue plumbing repairs related to the litigation.
Floors 14 to 23 will also be impacted by localized water shut-off between July 23rd and 26th. The schedule of these water shutoffs is posted at the front desk, and available for download here.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Access to ALL units affected by the localized water shutoffs each day is required. This is necessary to test accuracy of each isolation valve and pursue upcoming plumbing repairs. If you have specific instructions for the crew regarding your unit, please inform management. Because of the need to enter several units each day, it will not be possible to accommodate scheduling request.
