South Park Pharmacy South Park Pharmacy is conveniently located across the street and is unique in that it is half pharmacy and half convenient store. The pharmacy sells coffee, snacks, and other convenience items among over the counter medication. South Park Pharmacy is open Mondays through Fridays between 10AM to 8:30PM, and Sundays and Saturdays between 10AM to 2:30PM. Pure Joy Yoga & Reiki Healing 101 Classes – Evo Resident Promotion Kelsey Patel, a specialist in yoga, fitness, meditation, and reiki is offering two free classes that are easy to do in the comfort of your own home. Vurger Guyz – Vegan Food Truck Vurger Guyz is located right next to Whole Foods on 788 S Grand Ave (only a few blocks away from Evo)! Their menu focuses on burgers and tacos. The food is so good you’ll wonder if it’s actually really vegan! Vurger Guyz hours are Mondays through Saturdays between 11AM to 9PM. California Kabob Kitchen California Kabob Kitchen offers a great variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. Their prices are great with lunch combos being only $12-16. They also offer free delivery so make sure you check them out! Their hours are Mondays through Fridays between 11AM to 9PM and Saturdays between 11AM to 3PM. California Hospital Medical Center Foundation – Virtual Health Care California Hospital Medical Center is offering free virtual urgent care services for those with mild to moderate symptoms of the coronavirus. Symptoms include low-grade fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. If you or anyone you know is experiencing any of these symptoms and is unable to see a doctor, please go to https://franciscanvirtualcare.org/landing.htm?utm_source=call-center-referral. As a reminder, if you are experiencing severe symptoms such as high fever or difficulty breathing, please make sure to call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency room. Resources for COVID-19 & Other Local Restaurants – South Park BID South Park Business Improvement District is an amazing source of information for the community in addition to the great every day services they provide like keeping the streets clean and safe. Their recent newsletter provides resources on COVID-19 such as how you can help, where to get food and healthcare, work, and information if you are an employer. The newsletter also provides more local vendor promotions in case you were looking for food options that you could walk to when you need your daily dose of sun and fresh air. Just make sure you practice social distancing if you do go outside!
