Evo Covid-19 Update – Face Covering
Posted By janekim on June 29, 2020
Dear Residents,
During the Board Meeting last week, it was decided to enforce the current emergency rule regarding face covering. As may know, the State has recently provided “Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings”, issued by the California Department of Public Health (“CDPH”) on June 18, 2020. Per emergency rules, all residents are required to wear a facial covering when walking through all common areas and through the gym, except when engaged in physical exercise or while training.” Common area includes the lobby, hallways, and elevators. Please know that the Rules adopted by the Board are also consistent with Los Angeles County’s “Reopening Protocol for Gyms and Fitness Establishments”, issued June 12, 2020. Failure to follow the guidelines and Rules adopted by the Board may result in a warning or the suspension of Fitness Center access, and/or other disciplinary actions, in accordance with the Association’s Governing Documents and based on the severity of the violation.
The decision of the Board of Directors was guided by genuine concerns about the safety of residents and staff members and also the requirement from the State. The Board will review the decision as conditions or requirements are changing.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and let’s please help keep each other healthy.
Sincerely,
Luc Sasseville, CCAM
General Manager
